How to play?

The game encourages language development and offers a first experience of playing with abstract ideas. It is based on the teachings of Maria Montessori, using different senses for a richer cognitive experience and the three-period method for natural learning.

The notched cards promote fine motor skills and visual perception, while also helping to teach additional concepts such as the sounds of words, names, numbers, shapes and colors.

Word and picture game:

• Phase 1: the child gets acquainted with the cards and shapes (e.g. animals), listening to the pronunciation of the words.
• Phase 2: the child recognizes the shapes and fits them into the corresponding cards.
• Phase 3: the child names the depicted objects independently, reinforcing what has been learned.

Sorting game:

The cards also allow for sorting objects into categories (e.g. animals, fruit, vehicles). Children recognize differences, learn categorization, and reinforce new concepts through the "find the intruder" game.

My first discoveries:

The game provides a rich learning experience, helping the child understand the functions, characteristics and relationships between objects, while encouraging natural exploration of the world around them.
