Warnings

Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.

WARNING: Stop using the product when the child is 6 months old or when it starts to roll over by itself, or when it is too big to lie correctly and safely in the product.

WARNING – SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Do not use additional pillows, blankets or padding in the product or in its immediate vicinity. Do not use the product in an adult bed. Always remove the child from the product before carrying it.

WARNING: Be aware of the danger of placing the product near an open flame or other sources of high heat, such as electric heaters, gas heaters and the like. Do not use the product in a carrycot or in the body of a pram.

The product is no longer suitable for use as soon as the child starts to move or tries to turn over. Because of uncoordinated movements, the child can roll onto its side or end up with its face against the soft sides, in a position where it cannot breathe. Medical opinion suggests that this ability can appear as early as around 3 months of age, so it is important for parents to recognise and monitor the child's new motor abilities in good time.

Before use, make sure that all the components of the product are correctly fitted. Do not use the product if any part is damaged or missing.

From birth onwards, always lay the child on its back, in its own cot with a firm, flat mattress. Never lay the child down to sleep on its stomach or side. Take into account the room temperature and the clothing the child is wearing, and make sure it is neither too hot nor too cold, as overheating can be life-threatening.

Wash the product before first use in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The product does not replace the sides of the cot or cradle in which it is placed. The remaining height of the sides of the cot or cradle must be at least 200 mm.
